The difference between a solid shampoo bar and a soap bar lies in their formulations and intended use. While both are solid and often look similar, they serve distinct purposes. Specifically formulated for hair care, solid shampoo bars contain ingredients tailored to cleanse and nourish hair. They often include ingredients like surfactants, oils, and conditioning agents suitable for hair types. Traditional soap bars are formulated for cleansing the body. They may have a higher pH level and contain moisturizing agents suitable for the skin, but not necessarily designed for the unique needs of hair.

Wet the bar under running water, rub about a dozen times or less in your hands, and gently massage the obtained emulsion
into your hair. You can also try gently running the damp bar along your wet hair strands. Then rinse with warm water and put the bar away to dry. Avoid eye area. Store in a cool, dry place.

The addition of marigold and ribwort macerates ensures an optimal balance between cleansing, soothing and caring for the skin of the youngest.

Just massage in a small (comparable to a pea-sized) amount with your hand or a spatula. It’s enough to cover the skin under the armpit. It's worth remembering to use deodorant sparingly rather than excessively during a single application. A thinner layer will be absorbed more quickly, reducing the chances of potential marks on clothing. This will also increase the efficiency of the deodorant. A jar of cream deo can last for 4-5 months of daily use. Before putting clothes on, wait for the applied cream to dry/absorb.

In Four Starlings we work in harmony with nature, so we decided to create a healthy alternative to antiperspirants. Our natural deodorant doesn’t block the natural process of sweating, but it eliminates its unpleasant effects: excessive moisture and disagreeable smells. Deo will let your skin finally breathe and freely remove unwanted substances from your body. On the ingredient list you'll find absorbing agents (potato starch, arrowroot, diatomaceous earth, and white clay), neutralising agents (sodium bicarbonate) as well as regenerating and soothing agents (shea butter, coconut oil and sweet almond oil).

Baking soda is effective at neutralizing odors because it is alkaline, which helps to balance the pH level on the skin and makes it less hospitable for odor-causing bacteria. Unfortunately, it can cause irritation in people with very sensitive skin, which is why we have two versions of our deodorants: with baking soda and delicate ones, where this ingredient has been replaced with magnesium hydroxide, which is gentler on the skin.

Each of our products is suitable from the age of 3, however there is a range of cosmetics that we have specially tested for newborn care. These are theTeddy Bear and Kiddo soap,Duckling Massage Oil andSupercream Buckhorn Plantain, which can be used from the first day of life.

Our products do not contain any ingredients that are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, but because both of these periods are unique in a woman's life, we always recommend an individual approach and, in case of doubt, consultation with the doctor.

Tar Product Line

Birch tar is a substance obtained naturally during the process of dry distillation of birch wood. It occurs in the form of an oily liquid with a dark color, characterized by a sharp smell, but above all by invaluable properties: anti-dandruff, antifungal, disinfectant, anti-itching, antiseptic and antiparasitic. In addition, tar has a soothing and caring effect, which has a positive effect on the well-being of people struggling with skin problems such as: severe dandruff, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, acne. You will find artisan soaps for literally every skin type. In addition to their cleansing functions, they can also boast valuable values in the skin care ritual. In the case of problematic skin, we recommend our beloved Birch Tar with an original scent and the invaluable, antiseptic Charcoal. They will soothe inflammation and thoroughly cleanse the skin, thus reducing redness and soothing pimples. For sensitive skin, we wholeheartedly recommend Teddy Bear with lanolin or its vegan equivalent. These are our most delicate
bars - their minimalist, classic composition means that they can be successfully used by the whole family - both adults and children from the 1st day of life.

The unique creamy formula of our deodorant hidden in a glass jar has won the hearts of many and has permanently replaced classic antiperspirants in their cosmetic bags, being a healthier, natural alternative for them.

Despite the lack of any essential oils, it will easily cope with overshadowing, and in most cases, with complete neutralization of the unpleasant
smell of sweat. You can choose between a variant with baking soda and a delicate option, in which the soda has been replaced with magnesium hydroxide.
